First Post Awkwardness

Hi!

This would be my first blog post! My goal is to fill all of the empty space with crafting goodness. I love to craft and create things out of unusual objects. I particularly love paper crafts and making beautiful cards for various special occasions. I believe this will be the start of a lovely blogging relationship!

Yard work is for the birds.

I've never been a fan of working in the yard. I'd much rather scrub toilets than pull weeds, cut grass, or whatever else yard work consists of. Though, this spring I've been helping my mother plant flowers for my brother's wedding this summer. Hi! This week's post is a lot different from normal post because I wanted to do an outfit post. I'm not really into fashion unless you consider "nerdy comfort" and "on a budget" fashionable. My heart, my love

Incredibly grateful God chose me to love this man. I'm in awe of his confidence and generosity. Seven months ago, he uprooted his entire life and moved across the country to take a chance on me. The amount of courage it took to do that is astounding. The best friend I've ever had. The voice of reason to my anxious spirit. My adventure partner.  Creative consultant. My shelter and safety. He laughs at my lame jokes and finds my awkwardness charming. He, quite literally, fills my life with music regardless of my protests. My words are too inadequate to describe how much I love this man.
