This is a blog about food...
Yesterday, I went to lunch at Grits and Groceries which is a tiny restaurant a few minutes away from my house. It's in the middle of nowhere and literally surrounded by cow pastures. It's been getting quite a bit of national acknowledgement (Today show, numerous magazine spreads, ect). And let me say, it was delicious. I had a grilled chicken sandwich with fries. Oh, and the fries are made from fresh potatoes! If you are ever in the area, I would suggest a visit to this little place. However, your GPS might not be able to find it. Yes, it's that far off the main path. I'm told that the breakfast at Grits and Groceries is simply amazing. I haven't tried it yet, but if the fullness of parking lot is any measure of goodness then I'm sure it is nothing short of incredible.
