Night of the Undead

A few months ago, Kyle (read: little brother) asked me to help him with an art project. He need me to take photos of him and Thomas (read: cousin-friend) as undead zombies. Of course, I was more than happy to oblige. Kyle loosely describe what he wanted and we set out to apply the make up effects. Not only was I the photographer, but I also played make-up artist. I'm not very good with make-up, but I think I did a pretty good job as a first timer! I used the phrase "It needs more blood" quite a bit. At any rate, it was a lot of fun taking pictures of those two guys. They make absolutely smashing zombies.

I've never been a fan of working in the yard. I'd much rather scrub toilets than pull weeds, cut grass, or whatever else yard work consists of. My heart, my love

Incredibly grateful God chose me to love this man. I'm in awe of his confidence and generosity. Seven months ago, he uprooted his entire life and moved across the country to take a chance on me. The amount of courage it took to do that is astounding. The best friend I've ever had. The voice of reason to my anxious spirit. My adventure partner.  Creative consultant. My shelter and safety. He laughs at my lame jokes and finds my awkwardness charming. He, quite literally, fills my life with music regardless of my protests. My words are too inadequate to describe how much I love this man.
