November 2020 Bullet Journal Flip Through

Here's just a quick flip through of my filled in November bullet journal spreads. I wrote a more detailed blog post about the layouts and what I used them for with photos of the blank spreads. This comic book layout was pretty fun, but I'm ready to move on to December's spreads!

Incredibly grateful God chose me to love this man. I'm in awe of his confidence and generosity. Seven months ago, he uprooted his entire life and moved across the country to take a chance on me. The amount of courage it took to do that is astounding. The best friend I've ever had. The voice of reason to my anxious spirit. My adventure partner.  Creative consultant. My shelter and safety. He laughs at my lame jokes and finds my awkwardness charming. He, quite literally, fills my life with music regardless of my protests. My words are too inadequate to describe how much I love this man.

Yard work is for the birds.

I've never been a fan of working in the yard. I'd much rather scrub toilets than pull weeds, cut grass, or whatever else yard work consists of. Though, this spring I've been helping my mother plant flowers for my brother's wedding this summer. It has actually been fun and I even created a little garden for my elderly grandmother to grow vegetables. Here are some photos of yard work including some flowers I've grown with my mother...

Won't you come see me in Bakersfield, I'm not a million miles away.

The view out of the passenger window was unfamiliar. It was difficult to make out the terrain in the dark, but it was a new sight and I tried to keep my heavy eyes open to take it all in. I vaguely remember Merle Haggard playing over the car stereo, the glow of Micheal's cigarette, and the cool wind from the open window... We'd just flown into LAX  and rented a car to drive two hours northwest to Bakersfield, the city where Micheal grew up. Micheal relocated from his beloved California to an entirely different region on the complete opposite side of the country in mid-October. In contrast, I'd never been west of the Mississippi before. Small town southern girl in LA? Seemed more like the premise of a sitcom than reality. I awoke the next morning to Micheal standing at the door of the guest room. "I know my baby wants coffee," he said. I nodded, sleepily. He fiddled with the computer at the desk in the corner of the room while I transitioned to the world...
